Matthew Shirk is a Gardening Enthusiast, Taco Aficionado and Wine Lover currently living in Napa, CA. In his capacity as Head of Technology Services for the Napa Valley Vintners, Matt oversees digital infrastructure, technology operations, and strategic systems planning, while managing everything from enterprise websites and organizational data systems to staff technology support, cybersecurity, and day-to-day IT operations. Matt is proud to lead initiatives that strengthen and modernize the digital presence of the Napa wine industry. He constantly strives to help amplify the voices of Napa Valley winemakers, wine writers, and wine professionals while promoting the region’s rich winemaking heritage.
Originally hailing from the Midwest, Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in 2004, and Master of Science from the University of Oregon in 2016.
