Ted Loos
Freelancer on Wine, Art and Design
Ted Loos is a New York–based freelance journalist who is constitutionally incapable of covering just one topic. A former features editor of Wine Spectator, Loos has written about wine extensively for Bon Appetit, Decanter, Town & Country, and Departures, and wrote the Tasting Notes column for Epicurious.com for two years.
When he wears his other hat, he covers fine art and design for The New York Times, Vogue, Vanity Fair and Architectural Digest, among other publications. Ted has a BA from Amherst College and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
