The Wine Writers’ Symposium

Soon after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Tara Q. Thomas traded in her knife kit for a wine glass and never looked back. The former executive editor of and wine critic for Wine & Spirits Magazine, she’s now the managing editor of JancisRobinson.com. A specialist in the wines of Austria, Germany and the Mediterranean, she’s judged in wine competitions around the world, taught wine classes and written for a wide array of newspapers, magazines and books. She’s also the assistant editor to Jancis Robinson MW and Julia Harding MW for the 5^th edition of the Oxford Companion to Wine, released in September 2023.
