Kaethy Kennedy comes from the movie marketing industry in Hollywood. For over twenty years, she helped create trailers and TV spots for some of the biggest films on the silver screen, and ran her own successful ad agency.
Looking for a change, and wanting to pursue her passion for wine, she enrolled in the 2011 Wine Immersion program at The Culinary Institute of America, Greystone, in St. Helena, California. What was supposed to be a fun break from Hollywood turned out to be a life altering experience. Thanks to the inspiring teachers and invaluable relationships she made, she and a business partner were able to land a first job before finishing the program – cutting a piece for the Rutherford Dust Society, and founding Storycellars. That video would go on to win Honorable Mention in the annual Wine Spectator Video Contest.
Her experience includes all aspects of a full-service agency, video production, plus social media services and motion graphic design. Her clients have included wineries, restaurants, and resorts, as well as vineyard, vintner and appellation groups.
