Owner, Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy
Jasper spent nearly 40 years as a practicing Wine Merchant in the UK, mainly with his own importing company (Morris & Verdin Ltd 1981-2003) and Berry Bros & Rudd (2003-2017) becoming established as one of the country’s leading Burgundy experts. He published Inside Burgundy in 2010, winning the André Simon book award winner‚ and again for the Fully Revised Second Edition (2021).
In 2017 Jasper set up his subscription website, Inside Burgundy. From 2016 to 2023 he acted as consultant for the famous Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction. He now lives full time in Burgundy. Jasper became a Master of Wine in 1985 and was elected Chevalier de l’Ordre de Merite Agricole 2005.
