Dave McIntyre has written the weekly wine column for The Washington Post’s James Beard Award-winning Food section since October 2008. His column is widely syndicated and often appears in newspapers across the country. His writings have also appeared in Wine Enthusiast, the San Francisco Chronicle, Washingtonian and other publications. He created his blog, Dave McIntyre’s WineLine, in 1998, and co-founded Drink Local Wine in 2008 to help promote awareness of emerging U.S. wine regions.
