Betsy Andrews is a wine columnist for Departures.com. She is also an editor-at-large for Rodale’s Organic Life magazine and a contributor to The Wall Street Journal, Food & Wine, Arrive, and other publications. She is the former executive editor of Saveur magazine and editor of Saveur DRINK. She has also been a dining critic for The New York Times, the online editor at This Old House, a senior editor at Zagat, and she created Food & Wine’s first-ever blog, On the Line in New Orleans, an insider report on the recovery of the restaurant industry after Katrina. Betsy is also a poet. Her first book, New Jersey, won the 2007 Brittingham Prize in Poetry, and her second book, The Bottom, won the 42 Miles Press Poetry Prize for 2014.
