Sarah H. Bray began her career first in publishing at Condé Nast and SAVEUR magazine, and then later at Sotheby’s. She then stepped into a role as an international consultant and educator, working with top estates across Europe focusing on strategy and communications, before landing in Napa in 2020. As a freelance writer, she has contributed to VOICES, Food & Wine, The Sommelier Journal, Departures, SAVEUR, SevenFifty Daily, GuildSomm, and other publications.
Sarah is also a co-founder of the Bâtonnage Forum, a platform to discuss issues affecting women throughout the wine industry, and of the Bâtonnage Mentorship Program, launched in 2020. She holds her Level 4 Diploma in Wine and Spirits from the Wines & Spirits Education Trust and is a member of the San Francisco Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier. She was named a Future 40 Tastemaker by Wine Enthusiast 2024.
