Miguel de Leon is a wine professional of color currently in New York City. In 2021, Miguel was named as the inaugural recipient of the Michelin Guide Sommelier of the Year Award in NYC, and Imbibe Magazine’s 75 People Building a Better Drinks World. In 2022, he won a James Beard Foundation Media Award for his work on decolonization and natural wine, and was featured as Wine Enthusiast’s first-ever Future 40. Black Lives Matter.
