Sarah Bray

Sarah Bray began her career in publishing at Condé Nast and SAVEUR magazine, and then later at Sotheby’s. She then stepped into a role as an international consultant and educator, working with top estates across Europe focusing on strategy and communications, before landing in Napa in 2020. As a writer, she has contributed to Food & Wine, The Sommelier Journal, Departures, SAVEUR, SevenFifty Daily, GuildSomm, and other publications. Sarah is also a co-founder of the Bâtonnage Forum, a platform to discuss issues affecting women throughout the wine industry, and of the Bâtonnage Mentorship Program, launched in 2020. She holds the highest level of recognition from the Wines & Spirits Education Trust, Level 4 Diploma in Wine and Spirits, and is a member of the San Francisco Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier.
In addition to her work as Executive Director of the Wine Writers’ Symposium, Sarah serves as the Associate Director of The Wine Center at Meadowood Estate in Napa Valley, a private education service for members of The Napa Valley Reserve and guests and members of Meadowood Napa Valley.
